LTW/ Internship
Greetings students!
Welcome to the Learning To Work homepage! The internship program is designed to prepare students for the workforce, equipping them with essential skills such as resume writing, interviewing, job application process, professional etiquette, career development and more! The LTW program not only pays you for your internship experience, but it also allows you to earn two elective credits each semester. My goal is to help you grow and feel confident about your next career steps, once your journey at Flushing YABC comes to an end.
The only things I ask of you are that you:
1. Maintain satisfactory attendance
2. Maintain satisfactory grades
3. Attend weekly seminars Mondays at 3pm
4. Work a maximum of 15 hours, while adhering to the workplace guidelines
If you are interested in joining the LTW program, please feel free to stop by Room B22, email me at linetpena@childcenterny.org, call/text at 929-487-9189.
Sincerely,
Ms. Peña
